racism knows no boundaries

On the back of my Calcium/Vitamin D supplements, the box reads:

"Regular exercise and a healthy diet with enough calcium helps teen and young adult white and Asian women maintain good bone health and may reduce their high risk of osteoporosis later in life."

Where does that leave the rest of the female population? Geesh.

are you serious? that is (sadly) kind of funny- is it an intentional slight?? Or, who knows- maybe the rest of the female population has stronger bones than us whities?!?!

Anyway- yes- VERY busy with birthdays!! SOOOO glad it's over. We finished the last party tonight. I am now stressing out about having to go through that way too packed toy room downstairs and cleaning out the old stuff to make room for the new!

So- how are YOU!?!? Geez- am I ever going to see you again!??!

Hey Amanda...actually white & asian women (particularly of a small build) have a greater risk of osteoporosis & are the main focus of studies. So it's probably a legal reason they have to limit the extent of their claim b/c in reality men & women of all races get osteoporosis. Crazy...I've never actually seen that though!

I found you blog from MckMama (so nice of you to bring her dinner). I think that is so strange that this was listed on your bottle. I'm sure there is a reason, but I can see why you'd be taken off guard.
